Nigerian comedian, Bayegun Oluwatoyin, popularly known as Woli Arole, has revealed the reason he still gets invites to church programmes despite being a comedian.

The comedian was speaking on Channels Television’s ‘The Morning Brief on Monday.

According to him, all faiths are sacred and some religious leaders find it difficult to invite comedians to their programmes because some are not discreet enough to detour some jokes or know which not to crack.

Woli Arole disclosed that he prays before performing at churches even as a comedian.

He said, “I think the grace is that when I started, I didn’t make any mockery, you can check all my content, I didn’t blaspheme. God is sacred, our faith is sacred. In fact, I feel all faiths are sacred, Islamists, traditionalists, so there are boundaries you must not cross.
